This course follows the important women who impacted art from the Renaissance to the present day. After we examine the exceptional women who bucked the odds to succeed in the 16th to 19th centuries, we will focus on 20th century artists in the fields of sculpture, painting, and photography, and will conclude with some of the outstanding women making art in the 21st century.
