2.T.1.O – Ray Bradbury: Science Fiction as Social Commentary
Unlike traditional literature, science fiction uses the concept of “ideas as hero” to highlight a particular aspect of society as well as to predict the future. The nature of man, the threat of Artificial Intelligence, the censorship of books, the depersonalization of society, the exploration of other planets are just a few of the topics we will discuss reading Ray Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles and Fahrenheit 451.
